I began my career in health informatics working for an NHS Trust in Shropshire. Here I provided data services (ETL, KPI presentation and periodic reporting), clinical system support and process design. After fulfilling a quality assurance role within strict testing and rigorous regulatory compliance parameters for a systems integration and solution design company in Manchester, over 9 years I progressed to business analysis, project management, software sales and operational leadership. During this time we provided systems, technical consultancy and brand design expertise for a broad range of customers from The Royal Navy and Schlumberger to Heinz and DHL.

Combining passions for Mediterranean cuisine and business management I ran our family restaurant and delicatessen for 5 years from 2007. A 50 seat restaurant and retail deli serving only artisan Italian produce requires adaptability and relationship management to ensure consistent customer experience within the limitations of seasonal availability and supplier reliability!

Most recently, I provided IT project & infrastructure management, solution design and support, as well as strategic and operational performance management, reporting to the CEO and board of a large independent healthcare provider. A large, disparate and remote workforce needed access to highly sensitive, clinical information - using a broad range of platforms and devices - integrated with NHS systems and processes to support care in a highly regulated environment.
